1. Methods and sources
Each page describes its mathematical method, such as level-payment amortization, IRR solving or electricity-use conversion. Exchange rates, holidays and jurisdiction-specific data have their own sources and scope. A regional reference does not make every tool compliant with that jurisdiction’s rules.
2. Examples and jurisdiction
Default principal, rates, prices and income ratios are examples for exploring the model, not live quotes, regulatory limits or eligibility decisions. Use your own inputs in generic models. Hong Kong-specific modes are labelled separately; Hong Kong stamp-duty mode uses HKD only.
3. Check the source
Tax, lending, holiday and protection rules vary by place and date. Check current local rules and provider terms. Results are estimates.
4. Advertising and calculations
The site’s operator decides formulas, defaults, tool order and explanations. Advertisers do not control calculation results.
5. Data dates and limits
Data covers the dates, years and places stated on each page, not every market automatically. Before applying, trading or settling a bill, check current official sources, provider terms and your own statements.
6. Reports and corrections
Report calculation errors or unclear wording through the contact page. We review reports and, where needed, update the code, copy and relevant tests.
